Naugatuck-Joseph J. Pallacovitch, age 74, passed away at his home on Thursday September 19, 2019.
He was born in Waterbury, CT on June 23, 1945, son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Bendler) Pallacovitch. A longtime resident of Naugatuck, Joe retired from the Chemical Division of Uniroyal, Inc. after many years of service and was also the former owner of the Brown Derby Café in Naugatuck. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam era. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding.
Joe is survived by his son, Dean Pallacovitch and his wife Jo-Anne of Naugatuck; his grandchildren, Tatia Pallacovitch and Alan Wilkin; his best friend and partner, Alice (Jones) (Pallacovitch) Smolenski; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Chad W. Pallacovitch and his siblings, Joan Rose and Ronald Pallacovitch.
