Waterbury-Joseph T. Potter, age 58, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday September 19, 2023 after a short illness.
Born in Waterbury, CT on August 11, 1965, he was the son of the late Milton and Ruth (Bird) Potter. He was a longtime resident of Waterbury had worked at Jarjura’s Produce for more than 25 years. Joe was a simple man, an animal lover, an avid reader, and a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Joe is survived by his siblings, John Potter and his wife Cindy of Plainville, Frank Potter and his wife Tara of Beacon Falls, Elaine Potter Hanscom of Torrington, and William Potter and his wife Kim of Naugatuck; his uncle Joseph Bird; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert, Timothy, and Thomas Potter, and his sister Tracie Potter.
