Wolcott- Josephine A. (Messina) Rogers, age 77, passed away on Wednesday

December 23, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

 

Born in Waterbury, CT on February 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the

late Vincent and Olga (DiNicola) Messina.  She was a longtime resident

of Wolcott and had retired from PIC Design in Middlebury and H&R Block in Waterbury.

 

Joann is survived by her two sons, Glen A. Rogers, Jr. and his wife Patricia

of North Fort Meyers, FL, Christopher G. Rogers and his wife SueEllen       

of South Meriden and daughter Annmarie Sajdak and her husband

Richard of Wolcott; Her brothers; Vincent Messina and wife Sheri and Charles Messina, both of

Florida; and her sister, Mary Lou Cramer of Wolcott. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren(Nana’s Fab 5) Christopher J. Rogers, Alexa N. Sajdak, Samantha L. Rogers, Nicole P. Rogers, and Zachary C. Sajdak.  She also leaves behind her longtime companion and love, Gary Hampton of Watertown as well as many beloved family members.
