Naugatuck-Karen A. (Moskus) Accuosti, age 81, passed away peacefully at Complete Care of Middlebury on August 30, 2025.  She was widow of Anthony Accuosti.

Born in Waterbury, CT on May 21, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Anna (Skirvainis)  Moskus.  Karen was a longtime resident of Milford and Naugatuck.  She had worked at the Waterbury Republican American as well as the Hampton Inn in Milford.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially taking long beach walks.

Karen leaves her family to honor her memory, daughter Cheryl Trochsler and her husband Sean of Naugatuck; daughter-in-law Diane Dutton; her loving grandchildren Jessica and Michelle Trochsler, Westly Dutton and is wife Ashley, and Danielle Dutton and her partner Dean, and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son David Dutton.
