Naugatuck-Kim M. (Pockette) Potter, wife of William H. Potter, died Friday June 5, 2026 at her home.

Born in Rutland, VT on May 2, 1956, she was the daughter of the late James Lee and Norma (Reid) Pockette of Fair Haven, VT.  Kim enjoyed long rides, trips to the casino, and hanging out at the local VFW.

Besides her husband Bill, survivors include her daughter Alyson Cook and  her children Alexia and Joseph Miranda; her son Tyler Potter, all of Connecticut; her siblings Lesley Sumner and Tim Pockette, all of Vermont; also Savi, Gabe, Ian, and Riley Cook, all of Connecticut; and a special cousin Mary “Sis” of Connecticut; and last but not least the love of her life Paul…Remember me by putting on a Beatle song and taking a shot of tequila, and always remember the Lost and Missing.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Victor Chang and the loving staff at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, as well as Dr. Stephen Widman, ICU nurses, Cath Lab, and entire staff at UCONN Waterbury Hospital for saving her life in 2023.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday June 11, 2026 at noon at Grove Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.  To send an on line condolence or share a memory, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
