NAUGATUCK- Lorraine Marie (Raucci) Sagnella,  87, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10th, 2024. She was the widow of Anthony Salvatore Sagnella, her husband of 54 years.

Lorraine was born January 27th, 1937 at Grace Hospital in New Haven, daughter of the late Frank and Stephanie (Lisieski) Raucci. She attended Naugatuck schools and graduated in 1954. She was employed by the town of Naugatuck finance department in 1969, then became full time and worked 28 years before retiring as pension manager. 

Lorraine was known for belonging to the talent and music group Kollege Kapers. She was secretary and then vice president of the group for 42 years. Lorraine was devoted to the choir at St. Mary's Church then belonged to St Vincent Ferrer Church and sang for 12 years. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and loved  watching UCONN men's and women's basketball.

Lorraine leaves her daughter Rita Cosgrove and son in law  William Cosgrove,  as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS - Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 16th  at 12 :00 P.M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck. Friends and Family are asked to meet directly at church.
