Marie (Yaroshefski) Mastropietro

Waterbury-Marie (Yaroshefski) Mastropietro, widow of Albert J. Mastropietro, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 24, 2026 at River Glen Health Center.  She was 82 years old.

Born in Waterbury, CT on March 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary C. (Lewandowski) Yaroshefski.  Marie graduated from Bucks Hill Grammar School and Crosby High School, class of 1961.  She worked for many years as a lab technician at Uniroyal Chemical until her retirement.  She was a lifelong active parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church until its closing. Marie was a member of the parish Children of Mary and she faithfully called bingo every week for many years.  She enjoyed golf, skiing and  bowling at Lakewood Lanes in Waterbury.

Marie leaves her nieces and nephews, including Mary and Robert Piche of Southbury, and several other relatives.  She was predeceased by her sister Anita Kirk.
