Mary Louise (Gouveia) Mallane

NAUGATUCK- Mary Louise (Gouveia) Mallane, 89, of Naugatuck, died peacefully at her home October 16th, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of Patrick Mallane.

Mary was born in Waterbury December 25th, 1932, daughter of the late Lionel and Maria (Dos Santos) Gouveia. She was a lifelong resident of the Waterbury Naugatuck area. She worked at Uniroyal for 24 years then at Better Formed Metals for 17 years until her retirement. 

Mary was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She and her twin sister Natalie were inseparable . Mary touched many lives with her kindness and her door was always open to family and friends. She was a favorite aunt to her many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed.

Mary leaves two sons Patrick Mallane and his wife Renie and Brian Mallane and his girlfriend Sharen, all of Naugatuck; twin sister Natalie Pinto of Waterbury; grandchildren Brian K. Mallane and Ashley Mallane; and great grandchildren Lily and Paisley. She was predeceased by her brother Lee Gouveia.

ARRANGEMENTS- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday October 21st at 11:00 A. M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church , Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, Naugatuck.
