Watertown-Mary Ann (Bouvier) Mastroianni, age 66, the loving wife of Stephen Mastroianni, Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025 at home surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary Ann was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on December 12, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Mary and Bernard Bouvier Sr. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1977. She had a love of cooking and passion for entertaining friends and family. She opened and managed many restaurants, including the Seafood Peddler and was adored by her friends she served most recently at Giuiseppi’s. The parties she hosted were over the top with great food and countless laughs. In addition, Mary Ann was a devoted parishioner of St. John of the Cross in Middlebury and sang in the choir for over 20 years.
In addition to her husband, Stephen Sr., she leaves her family to honor her memory, sons Matthew Senez (Rebecca) of East Sandwich, MA; Stephen Mastroianni Jr. (Lindsay) of West Hartford; and daughter Shelby Neal (Ryan) of Prospect, and seven beloved grandchildren, Scarlett, Sawyer, Landon, Fiona, Ethan, Eliza, and Piper. She also leaves behind two brothers, Bernard Bouvier Jr. and David Bouvier, both of Massachusetts, and brother-in-law Michael Mastroianni of Bethel.
Visitation will be on Monday April 21, 2025 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main, Street, Naugatuck. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon at St. John of the Cross Church, 1263 West Street in Middlebury. Burial is private.
