Nancy Mae (Fortin) (Alessie) Gentley

Naugatuck-Nancy  Mae (Fortin) (Alessie) Gentley, age 74, beloved wife of Ronald A. Gentley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at her home.

Born in Waterbury, CT on June 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mildred (Luddy) Fortin.  She was raised in Middlebury and spent most of her adult life in Naugatuck. Nancy retired from Town and Country Cleaners in Watertown.  She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Ron, she leaves her family to cherish her memory, daughters Traci Alessie of Naugatuck and Kimberly Valentin of Hartford; her step children Todd Gentley of Waterbury and Brooke Rendle of Orleans, VT; her sister Sandra Graziano of Middlebury; her twelve beloved grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Nancy was predeceased by her first husband Louis Alessie and her brother Paul Fortin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 7, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street in Naugatuck.  A service celebrating her life will begin at 11 a.m. and burial will follow in Lake Elise Cemetery in Middlebury.  To send an on-line condolence or share a memory, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
