Nicholas DeVito Obituary

MIDDLEBURY - Nicholas John DeVito, 72, of Middlebury, died Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Joelle (Poveromo) DeVito.

 

Nick was born July 3rd, 1953 in Waterbury, son of the late Peter and Edith (Collela) DeVito. He owned and operated Emerald Siding for 45 years until his retirement. He loved to travel with his wife, walking his dogs and was a fan of UCONN Men's Basketball , the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants.

 

In addition to his wife Joelle, Nick leaves his brother and sister in law Alan and Barbara DeVito of Wallingford; brothers Peter DeVito and Richard DeVito, sister Gail Huaman and sister in law Elizabeth DeVito, all of Waterbury; several nieces and nephews and his dog Lilly. He was predeceased by his brother David DeVito.
