Naugatuck-Paul E. Brouillette, age 69, loving husband of Christine (Hayden) Brouillette, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Waterbury, CT on August 21, 1953, he was son of the late Adrian “Moon” Brouillette and Janice (Pudvar) Brouillette. Paul was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, had worked at H&R Block for 20 years, and eventually retired from Office Max. He loved his family and attended every one of his grandson’s little league games, and loved and admired his granddaughter’s beautiful artwork. He enjoyed golf and was a member of East Mountain Golf Course where he made many lifelong friendships. Paul was meticulous about his yard at home. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
In addition to his wife Christine, Paul leaves his family; a daughter Elise Work and her husband Wayne of Naugatuck; his brothers, Gil of Danbury, Todd and his wife Gail of Otis, MA, and Tracy of Cape Coral, FL; his loving grandchildren, Connor Walker, Maddisyn Work, and another soon expected; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 13, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street in Naugatuck. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Bible Church of Waterbury, 240 Dwight Street, Waterbury. Burial is private.
