Naugatuck-Raffaele Liguori, age 88, husband of Maria (DeCarlo) Liguori, passed away at his home on Friday May 17, 2024.

 

Born in Italy on March 13, 1936, he was the son of the late Aniello and Antonietta Liguori.  Raffale was a resident of Naugatuck for the past 54 years and retired form Risdon Manufacturing.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and taking care of his properties.

 

In addition to his wife Maria of 56 years, he leaves his five children, Neil Liguori, Antonietta Giugno, Luigi Liguori, Raffaelo Liguori, and Maria Liguori; his seven grandchildren Lisa, Michele and Michael Giugno, and Raffaelo III, Marissa and Francesca Liguori, and La Dominique Crespo; his three great grandchildren, Kyle, Lia, and Sophia; and several nieces and nephews.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck.  Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.  The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck is in care of his arrangements.  To send an on-line condolence or share a memory, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com.
