So sorry to hear of your recent loss. Richard is a year younger than I am. It reminds one of our mortality. We have all lost someone to death and it leaves a void that cannot be filled. What assists in grieving is the realization that death does not end it all. I find comforting to read the words of our master Jesus Christ found in the Gospel by John. Those words can be found in your bible at John chapter five and verses 28,29. Jesus assures us that God hates death as we do and he will reverse that process by means of a resurrection. We have hope of seeing our loved ones again.

My condolences go out to Rich's family and friends. I had the good fortune of knowing Rich through work. He fixed our Radiology equipment at the Bradley Campus. He always had a smile, story or joke. I wish he had more time on this earth to enjoy his retirement. Rich will be missed greatly by all, but will always be remembered fondly.

Rich has been going with our group of golfers to Myrtle Beach the last 10+ years. He has been an asset to our group with his story telling, funny jokes, and entertaining us with his accordion. He always had a smile and was willing to help anybody that needed it. A number of years ago while playing in our scramble tournament, he holed out a shot from 125 yards on a par 4 for an Eagle 2 for his four-some. Rich will be deeply missed by all of us on our golfing trips to Myrtle Beach and Vermont.

Met Rich about 6 years ago on my first Myrtle Beach trip. Got hooked up in his group the second day and had great times ever since. An added bonus was getting to golf with him in Vermont last year, We will miss the polka music blaring out of your mini van in the golf course parking lot after the rounds but we will still hear it in the sky.
