Naugatuck-Roslyn (Kosakowski) Zemeir, age 87, widow of Edwin S. Zemeir, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday September 13, 2024.

Born in Waterbury, CT on September 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Cora (Krzykowski) Kosakowski.  Roslyn was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and a longtime resident of Naugatuck.  She traveled the world extensively with her husband Edwin and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was an avid painter and gardener, and was an active member of Holy Saviour Church.

She leaves her family to honor her memory, son Mark Zemeir and his wife Annette of Ellicott City, MD; her daughter Lori Uszakiewicz and her husband Roger of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; her grandchildren Lindsey and Kyle Zemeir, and Brian and Tommy Uszakiewicz; two great grandchildren Riley and Addie; her brother David Kosakowski of Naugatuck; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 17, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/ Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at Holy Saviour National Catholic Church in Naugatuck.  Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.  To send an on-line condolence or share a memory, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Roslyn’s name may be made to Holy Saviour National Catholic Church, 118 Prospect Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
