Groton-Russell J. Card, Jr., age 63, passed away on June 6, 2024.
He was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 13, 1960, son of the late Russell J. Card, Sr., and Mary (Petty) Card. He was raised in Stratford and spent time in Arizona and Naugatuck before moving to Groton last year. Russell enjoyed golf, fishing and playing guitar.
He leaves his family to honor his memory, his sisters Debbie Palyo and her husband John of Naugatuck, Teri Cable and her husband Charlie, and Pam Castagna, all of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews.
A service in celebration of Russell’s life will be held on Thursday June 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.
