“Loving Husband and Father”
Naugatuck-Stanislaw Zajac, age 81, beloved husband of Czeslawa (Pianka) Zajac, passed away on Saturday June 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Zajac was born in Lipowki, Poland March 9, 1939, son of the late Stanislaw and Julia (Osiak) Zajac. He came to the United States with his family in 1967. He met his wife in Brooklyn and they later married in St. Hedwig’s Church in Naugatuck. He retired from East Coast Metal Hose.
Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves his sons, Marek and Edward Zajac, both of Naugatuck; his sister Zuzanna Anuszkiewicz of Brooklyn, NY; several nieces and nephews including, Regina Anuszkiewicz, George Anuszkiewicz, Ireneusz Zajac Tadeusz Seroczynski, and several nieces and nephews in Poland.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at 12:30 PM at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
