Naugatuck- Stanley L. Jaroneczyk, Jr., age 81, husband of the late Bettina (Travaglianti) Jaroneczyk, passed away on Thursday April 27, 2023.

Stanley was born in Manhattan, NY on October 25, 1941, son of the late Stanley and Anna (Bryan) Jaroneczyk, Sr.  He moved his family from Brooklyn, NY to Connecticut in 1970, taking a truck driver position with Consolidated Industries.  He and Tina eventually chose Naugatuck as their new hometown.  He owned USA Painting and Restoration before retiring, but driving the Chicago long haul run for General Electric was the job he enjoyed most.

Stanley loved spending time with his family.  Organizing the Father's Day boat outings and all our New Year's Eve' celebrations.   His hobbies were restoring old cars, old boats and fishing.  He was a long-time member of High Rock Shooting Range and served on the Zoning Board in Naugatuck for several years.   He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of the American Legion Post 17 in Naugatuck.

Stanley is survived by his daughters, Deborah Luther and her husband Robert of Terryville, Theresa Alves and her husband David of Prospect, and his son Stanley Jaroneczyk, III of Watertown; his sister Maryann Barcomb and his brother David Yourison, Sr, both of Naugatuck; his seven grandchildren, David Alves and his wife Robyn, Troy Carlson, Ryan Alves, Noah Carlson, Katie Jaroneczyk, Ashlee Alves, and Tony Jaroneczyk; his beloved great-grandson David Alves, Jr.; and his many nieces and nephews.
