Middlebury-Susan C. (Carpentieri) Zollo, age 71, loving wife of Thomas J. Zollo, passed away Saturday December 16, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital.

Born in Waterbury, CT January 13, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Aneillo and Michelina (Mantino) Carpentieri.  She resided in Middlebury for over 40 years.  Susan did secretarial work for many years and was also a caregiver and companion for the elderly.  She enjoyed swimming, boating, kayaking, daytrips, museum visits, and traveling with her husband.  She was fascinated by Astrology and Tarot.

In addition to her husband Tom of 43 years, Susan leaves her son Paul T. Zollo of Shelton, WA; her grandchildren Samantha and Tristin; her sister Teresa Bernhardt; several nieces and nephews, including Erika and Jason; and many other relatives.
