Vanessa (Duby) Vincitorio

Roxbury- Vanessa Frances Vincitorio died Monday, November 6, 2023 at home after a long illness. She was 66.

Vanessa was born in New Haven, CT, April 21, 1957, the daughter of the late Walter and Elaine (Pompano) Duby. Raised in CT, she was a graduate of Wilby High School.

She married the love of her life, Michael Vincitorio in 1993. They shared 30 wonderful years together.

Vanessa and Michael owned and operated Watertown Convalarium until 2022. There they would provide extraordinaire kindness and compassion to whomever came through those doors.

Vanessa enjoyed the beach, beading and the many adventures with Michael and their friends especially in Florida. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. She had an unconditional love for animals. She was truly a wonderful Wife, Friend and Auntie

 Vanessa leaves her brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Mary Surette of Shrewsbury, MA. She also leaves her nephews, Christopher Surette and his wife Maggie of North Andover, MA and Michael Surette of Shrewsbury, MA; her niece Jaclyn Lowe and her husband Patrick of Worcester, MA; her great nephews and great niece, Jack Lowe, Colin Surette, Kate Surette and Michael Lowe.

Vanessa also leaves behind her brother Walter and sisters Elaine, Dawn, Renee and Kim.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped both Michael and Vanessa over the last several years, especially her dear friends Linda McDermott and Lori Galanis.
