William A. Fernandes

NAUGATUCK- William A. Fernandes, 85, of Naugatuck, died Sunday, November 24th, 2024 at Complete Care at Glendale. He was the widower of Carol A. Fernandes.

William was born in Waterbury April 26th, 1939, son of the late Manuel and Mary (Fidalgo) Fernandes . He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at  Uniroyal Chemical in Naugatuck until his retirement.

William leaves his brother Clayton Fernandes, sister Juanita Fernandes of New Hampshire, sister and brother in law Jeanine and Gordon LeVasseur of Bethany, sisters in law Linda Fernandes- Bailey (Jim), Joanne LaFreniere, brother in law Thomas Fernandes and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 29th,  2024 at 11:00 A. M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church , Naugatuck. Burial with military honors  will follow in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M.. at Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.
