I would like to very much express my condolences for your great loss. Death is always an unwelcomed visitor in all our lives. Although you are grieving now as a natural process , may I share something with you which has helped me immensely.
First of all God is aware of how you feel and it pains him. That is why he sent his dear son to die for us so that we might be relieved of the enemy death. Jesus death and resurrection assures us that one day sickness and death will be eliminated. Is that believable? Notice this promise contained in this very ancient book the Bible: We can read this promise at Revelation chapter. 21and verse 4:"and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away" That is a promise from God, unchangeable. God has in effect signed his name to it.

Papa you were the one who gave strengh and hope when I was down.You have guided me even the rough times I had in the Navy.I will truly miss the times we had together. God's taken you away from me.Guide me and watch over me for as long as I live.Rest in eternal peace.I love you your son John.

You were the strongest most couragious & principled man I ever have known.
Those qualities have always inspired me throughout my life. I've learned much from you & I want to Thank you for always giving me the guidance & advice I needed to overcome the most trying times in life.
