I am very sorry for your loss of Dan. I remember Dan when I was active in the Ct. State FOE from mid 80's to mid 90's.I beleive he may have been a State Trustee at some time. Dan was a very gentile spoken person and a pleasure to be with. May he rest in peace and God's comforting blessings be with his entire family. I noticed the obituary in the republican -American while working here at my home in New Milford.

Hard to believe he was at the club Sunday playing pool. He was his happy go lucky self. Now he's gone. Danny always brought us movies, I remember he brought Louie a chicken sandwich one afternoon and Louie had already brought his own dinner, so he gave it to Speedy. Turned out it was a rubber chicken in the sandwich. Goes to show you the sense of humor Danny had. He had a heart of gold and a great smile. I will play some Lady GaGa Friday night at the club in his memory, she and Adele were his favorites. May the angels in heaven hold him in their wings and take away any pain he suffered in life. You will not be forgotten Dan, rest in peace my friend. Till we meet again. P.S. I will practice my pool shots. My condolences to your family, especially Dan Jr.
