We would like to express our deepest condolences to your family. Life is such a precious gift and we treasure it more when we lose it. Your beloved father, grandfather lived a long life and I know you wished for a bit more for him. In your grief you can be assured that God sees your pain. His desire is to end all human suffering and he has paved the way by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. By means of Jesus all of God's promises have become "yes". One such promise which has comforted me is found in an ancient book bearing God's name, the Bible. Take time to read it at Revelation chapter 21. and verse 4. It reads: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away" These promises include bringing the dead to life through a resurrection. When Jesus walked the earth he performed such miracles to prove that God will do the same in the near future.

Losing a love one is a very sad moment. Much comfort and strength is needed to carry on.
Prayer is the best source of comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says:
3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials..
Let God be your comforter and strength provider.

So very sorry - Uncle Nick and I had so many good times. He was also very kind to me during a difficult period of my life. He was always there for me when others were not. I will always think of him with much love. May God Bless him !!! To really know him was to really love him. Sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss! Your Dad was kind enough to help me when I was a younger man.
