Naugatuck-Maria Giovanna (Salinardi) Errico, age 104, passed away on Friday April 17, 2015 at
Beacon Brook Health Center. She was the widow of Vincenzo Errico. Maria was born in Ruoti, Italy on April 28, 1910, daughter of the late Felice and Maria Antonia (Bochicchio) Salinardi. She was a Naugatuck resident since 1958. Mrs. Errico is survived by 3 sons, John Errico, Frank Errico both of Arizona, Felice Errico of CA, 3 daughters, Angela Montavon of Naugatuck, Phyllis Marchesseault of Waterbury and Rose Lucas of Naugatuck, 22 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband, brothers and sisters, she was predeceased by 3 sons, Gennarino, Giovanni and Rocco Errico. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 22. 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Those attending are asked to please meet at 9:45 a.m. at the church. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.
