My heartfelt condolences to Tracy, Reid's fiance , and to Reid's friends . I just learned of Reid's passing. He was a great man with a heart of gold. His goodness and generosity of spirit knew no bounds. In Wallace Middle School, he was a fun and engaging computer teacher and taught generations of Waterbury students not just a love for technology, but an easy facility with the computer that rivaled none. His work with CPEP, Connecticut Pre-Engineering Program, teaching students about mag-lev trains, solar-powered cars, boats, houses and constructing these made memorable experiences for all students. What a wonderful, kind person, Reid was to myself and to every person he ever came in contact with . This world was lucky to have had him. He is sorely missed.

I live in the condo next to Reid's. Although I didn't know him very well, I found him to be a great neighbor - quiet, but very pleasant whenever I saw him. It's not often that you are blessed with such a nice person living next door. I will miss him and I am so very sorry for your loss.
