Dear Prs. Nancy,
We just recently heard of Father's passing and wanted to connect with you. May his memory be eternal and may the peace of God sustain you. We have fond memories of our evening together in Moose Jaw and still laugh about our mistake in showing up an hour early and catching you having dinner before everything started. As a member of the Waterbury Chorale I had the privilege of meeting Father Walter. Although we only had a few conversations his peaceful nature had a lasting effect on me and he will be missed.

My husband and I were so shocked to hear of Walter's passing. We both sang with him in the Waterbury Chorale. I am a United Church of Christ pastor and we had a lovely chat during the intermission of our last concert talking shop about our different Holy Week activities. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better. I know my husband feels the same way. Please know that your family is in our prayers. May God's peace that passes all understanding be with you through this difficult time.
