Naugatuck-Susan K. (Peil) Sodloski, age 64, wife of Thomas H. Sodloski, passed away on Saturday June 18, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital VITAS Unit.
Mrs. Sodloski was born in Williamsport, PA on November 12, 1951 daughter of the late Donnell W. and Rachel (McMurray) Peil. A longtime Naugatuck resident, she retired as a para-professional from the Borough of Naugatuck public school system. Sue was a member of the Highland Lake Watershed Association, and she enjoyed spending many good times at Highland Lake in Winsted with her family and friends.
Besides her husband of 46 years, Susan is survived by her son Thomas E. Sodloski of Naugatuck; her brother Theodore Peil of Naugatuck; her sister Kristi Peil of Oakville; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held privately and burial will be in St. James Cemetery. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
