To the family of Waldimar Gruenwald, we express our deepest condolences. Death creates such a void which cannot be filled easily. Where can we find comfort in such times. A source of comfort many turn to is the beautiful promise contained in the Holy Writings. Our Creator has left for our consideration such writings filled with hope of seeing our loved ones again under much better conditions. To bolster our hope he has had recorded actual accounts of deceased ones being reunited with their loved ones by means of a resurrection. One such account which warms my heart is when Jesus raised his friend Lazarus from the dead and allowed his sisters to welcome him back. Some consider the idea of a resurrection as fanciful but we have 9 recorded such resurrections in Scripture including the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Thus we can be convinced that there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. The resurrection account concerning Lazarus is found in the Gospel by John chapter eleven and verses thirty eight through forty four. You will find comfort in reading this
