Leonard G. Bratchell, 90, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2016, at Beacon Brook Health center. He was the husband of the late Molly (Russo) Bratchell.
He was born on, May 21, 1925, in Niagara Falls, New York, the son of late Anthony and Virginia Bratchell.
Leonard was a Radio Operator for the U.S. Army in WWII, and when he returned, he went to work for U.S. Post Office as a Clerk.
He is survived by his Daughter in-law, Bonnie Bratchell of Naugatuck, his two Grandchildren, Leonard J.P. Bratchell II, Kelly Bratchell and her husband Mark, and three Great-Grandchildren, Kaleb, Giovani, lillianna, all of Naugatuck.
He was predeceased by his son, Leonard J.P. Bratchell.
There will be a graveside service at 9:30am with Military Honors, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at St. Francis Cemetery, 863 S. Main St., Torrington, CT, 06790.
